well I was trying to farm a warrior boss, Geoffer with my assassin and for some odd reason i noticed my chains kept on getting disrupted and recharged time got rlly long. I found out it was that annoying shield bash skill, and so i tried the shield bash skill in pvp, and it does wonders against assasins and even normal cc warriors. Only downside is the recharge time.

-thoughts?

Congrats you just found a 1.5 yo trick. works with risposte, smoke powder defense also.

^yea, like those, But I feel shield bash is a lot more suited for disrupting
-because it blocks next "attack skill", not just attack
-15 second recharge on that skill

..but you guys already know that...I just found that out, must have been an update long ago since I never knew shield bash oculd do that.

I don't even think about Alliance Battles without Shield Bash on my bar. And oh man, hell hath no fury like a Shield-Bashed 13-year old with a keyboard.

Well, I don't know if you've played an Assassin before, but they rely on a chain of attack skills where each one depends on the one before it: Lead > Offhand > Dual. If you Shield Bash their lead attack, its not only blocked but disabled for an additional 15 seconds. You have neutralized that assassin for a significant amount of time. They can't really do a lot but hit Feigned Neutrality and run, or just auto-attack you for 3 or 4 damage per hit.

This is especially helpful in Alliance Battles, where a team of 12 will have between 4 and 8 (lol) Assassins on it most of the time, most of them probably running the same Wiki Shadow Prison build. Most of them are not experienced players, mature human beings, or good typists. They don't have patience for a target who can fight back. Hilarity frequently ensues.
